Majestic 35-7975: 21-Gauge Dexterity Meets A9 Cut Protection

The Majestic 35-7975 Cut-Less® Korplex® glove combines a fine 21-gauge knit with ANSI/ISEA 105-2024 A9 cut resistance. With a sandy nitrile palm, reinforced thumb crotch and touchscreen capability, it gives safety managers several practical features to consider when evaluating gloves for demanding material.

An image of Majestic 35-7975 A9 gloveHandling sharp glass, metal components and unfinished edges requires hand protection that supports both safety and control. Workers need to grip materials securely, position parts accurately and complete detailed movements throughout the day. A glove that makes these actions difficult can complicate an already demanding job.

Fine-Knit Construction for Detailed Work

The 35-7975 brings high cut resistance to a seamless knit design. Its 21-gauge construction is particularly relevant when workers need to manipulate components while wearing protective gloves.
Majestic also incorporates pre-curved fingers to help minimize hand fatigue and a long knit cuff for a secure fit. Together, these features address how the glove feels and moves during use.

For a purchasing team, the next step is practical evaluation. Have employees try representative movements: picking up a component, repositioning it, maintaining a controlled grip and completing an assembly step. Include several hand sizes in the trial. A glove’s published specifications provide a useful starting point, while worker feedback helps establish whether the fit suits the task.

Understanding the Protection Ratings

A9 is the highest classification on the ANSI/ISEA A1–A9 cut-resistance scale. Its classification threshold is 6,000 grams-force under standardized testing. This describes laboratory cut performance; it does not make a glove cut-proof.

The glove’s Level 6 abrasion rating corresponds to at least 20,000 revolutions under a 1,000-gram test load. Its Level 3 puncture rating corresponds to at least 60 newtons in the non-hypodermic puncture test. These are separate measurements, each addressing a different mechanical hazard. ISEA hand-protection classification guide.

For buyers, this distinction matters. High cut resistance should not be treated as evidence of equivalent protection against needles, chemicals or other hazards. Evaluate each required form of protection independently.

Sandy Nitrile Grip and Reinforced Wear Protection

Majestic’s supplied product announcement highlights the sandy nitrile palm for reliable grip in wet conditions. That is a useful feature to evaluate where moisture affects material handling.

A workplace trial should reproduce the actual conditions employees encounter. Consider the surface finish, moisture, component weight and movements involved. A glove that performs well on one material may feel different on another.

The reinforced thumb crotch addresses an area exposed to repeated stress during gripping. Combined with the abrasion rating, it makes durability an important part of the 35-7975’s appeal. Actual replacement intervals will still depend on handling conditions, wear and inspection results.

Touchscreen Access During the Workday

Digital work orders and mobile devices are part of many industrial workflows. Removing gloves whenever a screen needs attention introduces another step between handling material and recording progress.
The 35-7975’s touchscreen-friendly fingertips can help workers check information while keeping their gloves on. During evaluation, test the actual device and screen protector used at your facility. Include everyday actions such as selecting a work order, entering a quantity and navigating an inspection form.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Majestic 35-7975 worth considering?
Its main attraction is the combination of 21-gauge construction and A9 cut resistance. The design also addresses grip, thumb-area wear and device use. Consider it when reviewing whether your current glove supports both the required protection and the movements employees perform.

Is the Majestic 35-7975 cut-proof?
No. Cut resistance describes performance under defined test conditions. The glove must be selected for the actual hazard and used with appropriate handling procedures. An A9 rating does not guarantee that every sharp object or contact situation will be safely resisted.

What does EN 388 4X42F mean?
The marking identifies abrasion Level 4, an X for the circular-blade cut test, tear Level 4, puncture Level 2 and ISO cut Level F. X means that test is not rated or not applicable. Level F has a 30-newton threshold. ANSI and EN classifications use different scales, so their numbers should not be compared directly.

Does puncture Level 3 mean protection against needles?
No. Conventional puncture resistance and hypodermic needle resistance are distinct. Majestic does not list a hypodermic needle rating for this model in the reviewed specifications. Where needles are a concern, require explicit needle-resistance data. ISEA hand-protection guidance.

Is the glove waterproof or chemical-resistant?
The reviewed specifications identify a palm coating and describe enhanced grip. They do not establish a waterproof or chemical-protection claim. Wet-grip performance should not be used as a substitute for chemical compatibility or liquid-barrier documentation.

How should we assess fit and service life?
Trial the available sizes with representative users. Check fingertip space, cuff security and control during normal movements. Track wear at the palm, fingers and thumb crotch. Establish inspection and replacement practices around the work performed, rather than assuming a fixed lifespan.
