In case you have not heard, back on May 22, 2025, Protective Industrial Products Inc. ("PIP®") successfully completed the acquisition of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Business of Honeywell Industrial Safety.
WORLD CLASS SAFETY SOLUTION SUPPLIER
Honeywell furnishes a broad range of world-class industrial safety solutions that include hearing protection, eye protection, head, and face protection, first aid supplies, fall protection and respiratory protection.
The acquired business, now part of PIP® Global Safety (a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners, LLC) includes leading brands such as Fendall®, Fibre-Metal®, Howard Leight™, KCL®, Miller®, Morning Pride™, North®, Oliver®, Salisbury®, UVEX® and others.

This acquisition solidifies PIP | HSP as the worldwide leader in safety, comfort, and security to create a comprehensive portfolio of cutting-edge protective equipment and solutions through the addition of powerful brands and products to a very diversified customer base that are highly complementary to that of PIP®. This combination also broadens and strengthens PIP’s offering of head-to-toe protection covering worker safety, electrical safety, hearing protection, head protection, hand protection, respiratory protection, fall protection, eye protection, footwear, first aid and first responder equipment.
The acquisition expands PIP’s global manufacturing and distribution footprint to approximately fifty countries and enhances supply chain and product development capabilities. The combination of an expanded portfolio of brands and enhanced geographic reach enables PIP® to offer more growth opportunities for valued customers around the world.

THE TRANSITION
With the transaction now completed, PIP® can better focus efforts on building and executing the integration plans to ensure a smooth transition. They have mentioned that while working with urgency, please note this will take time to properly complete. Since announcing the transaction in November 2024, PIP’s employees have been working hard to create a thoughtful integration plan and promise to keep customers posted and expect the integration effort will take between 6 and 12 months or longer depending on region.
Importantly, please note that the Honeywell name is being phased out; however, you may still encounter documentation and packaged products carrying the name during this period while working through the process of updating materials.
