The Ansell AlphaTec™ Breathable FR Coat 66-651 provides multi-hazard protection for workers exposed to chemical splash, flash fire, and hot-liquid hazards. Designed for demanding industrial environments, this reusable protective coat combines flame-resistant materials with a breathable construction to help reduce heat stress while maintaining protection and workplace comfort.

The coat features a chemical-splash-resistant fabric designed to provide protection against chemical sprays and splashes. Its flame-resistant construction meets NFPA 2112 requirements and is designed to resist flash fires and hot liquids, making it suitable for applications where thermal and chemical hazards may be present.

For improved protection against liquid and chemical spray penetration, the AlphaTec™ 66-651 uses stitched and taped seams along with a double front storm flap. A heavy-duty flame-resistant zipper and hook-and-loop cuff fastenings provide additional coverage and secure closure.

The coat is constructed with a white Nomex® inner layer, breathable membrane, and blue Nomex® outer layer and has a fabric weight of 280 gsm. It is available in S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, and 6XL. The product is individually packaged and has a listed shelf life of five years.

Updated Chemical Protection Information

The updated material continues to provide protection against more than 70 hazardous chemicals. However, the material did not pass penetration testing for the following chemicals and is not recommended for use where exposure to these substances may occur:

• Sulfuric Acid (93%)
• Nitrobenzene
• Dimethyl Formamide (DMF)
