PIP® Metal Detectable Reusable TPR Corded Ear Plugs - NRR 27

The PIP® 267-HPR400D is a reusable hearing protection solution designed for workplaces where noise reduction and contamination control are both important. Made from thermoplastic rubber (TPR), these pre-formed earplugs provide a convenient alternative to disposable foam plugs and are particularly suited for food processing, pharmaceutical, laboratory, cleanroom and other controlled manufacturing environments. PIP rates the earplug at an NRR of 27 dB.

The earplug incorporates a traceable metal insert and metal-infused cord, making it well suited to applications where metal detection is part of a facility's foreign-object control process. Its bright orange color also provides easy visual identification.

Unlike roll-down foam earplugs, the pre-formed design requires no rolling before insertion. A rigid stem makes insertion straightforward, while the self-sealing flanges are designed to provide a comfortable fit during extended use. 

The cord can be detached when required for additional safety around machinery or when cleaning the TPR plugs. The non-resonating vinyl cord used with the corded configuration also makes the pair easier to store and handle between uses.
