The PIP® Quin® Pod Connected Smart Sensor brings connected safety technology to compatible industrial head protection. Designed for use with PIP® Traverse™ full-brim safety helmets, this compact sensor monitors motion and is designed to detect workplace incidents that may require emergency assistance.

The Quin® Pod uses advanced accelerometers and gyroscopes to capture motion data at up to 6,600 measurements per second. When a qualifying incident is detected, the device can automatically notify up to three designated emergency contacts, sharing available location information and incident details to help support a timely response.

Beyond incident alerts, the Quin® Pod records event analytics and monitors information such as acceleration, temperature, equipment health, and usage. If connectivity is temporarily unavailable, event information can be stored and synchronized later.

Designed for lone workers and personnel in higher-risk environments, the Quin® Pod integrates with the Quin Within app for device management, reporting, and analytics. Its rechargeable lithium battery provides approximately 45 hours of runtime, according to the manufacturer.
