Ansell HyFlex® 11-812 industrial gloves are designed for precision tasks performed near certain rotating tools and machinery. Their unique knitted construction is engineered to tear at multiple high-risk areas if the glove becomes dangerously entangled, helping the wearer withdraw the hand from the hazard.

The ultra-thin 18-gauge nylon and spandex liner provides excellent tactile sensitivity for handling small components. A foam nitrile palm coating supplies grip while leaving the back of the hand open for greater breathability. ERGOFORM™ Ergonomic Design Technology and ZONZ™ Comfort Fit Technology reduce tension across the hand and provide a close, flexible fit for detailed work.

HyFlex 11-812 gloves are latex-free, silicone-free, DMF-free, and approved by Dermatest® for skin friendliness. They are also certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 for testing against harmful substances. The white liner and coating make dirt and contamination easier to identify in applications where visual cleanliness matters.

These gloves are intended for properly assessed applications involving rotating tools operating at a minimum torque of 10 Nm, or 7.4 ft-lb, and speeds above 200 RPM. They are not recommended for equipment operating below those thresholds. A task-specific safety assessment is required before use.

The deliberately low tear resistance is part of the glove’s easy-tear design and intended application.

Important Usage Precautions

The HyFlex 11-812 does not directly protect against contact with sharp or high-speed rotating machinery. It is designed to tear if entanglement occurs under specified operating conditions.

• Intended for rotating tools with a minimum torque of 10 Nm, or 7.4 ft-lb, and speeds above 200 RPM

• Not recommended for rotating tools operating at lower torque or speed

• Conduct a detailed application and hazard assessment before use

• Confirm that glove use is permitted by the machine manufacturer and applicable workplace procedures

• Discard the glove after any entanglement incident, whether it tears or remains intact

• Do not use where the documented hazard assessment requires cut, puncture, chemical, heat, or impact protection beyond the glove’s published ratings

This glove will not directly protect the worker from injuries caused by contact with a sharp or high-speed rotating machine.
• If a glove becomes entangled in a rotating machine, whether or not it tears, it should be discarded and not used again.
• HyFlex 11-812 has been designed for rotating tools having a minimum torque of 10 Nm [7.4 foot-pounds] and speeds over 200 rotations per minute (RPM).
