Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS), White Finger Disease and repetitive trauma associated with excessive vibration, shock or impact energy is a significant health problem in industries affecting 1 in 10 workers. This disorder affects the blood vessels, nerves, muscles, and joints of the hand wrist and arm and it's normally caused by excessive, long-term exposure to working with tools that vibrate, or holding materials that are shaking such as a power drill, chainsaw, pneumatic drills, machinery etc. As the symptoms progress, they become irreversible and simple tasks like pouring a glass of water becomes difficult. Prevention is critical to long term hand health and productivity as persistence can cause permanent changes that are increasingly painful and irreversible over time.

Impacto® Ergotech Anti-Impact Half Finger Glove is made with nylon lycra spandex and black suede leather cover with VEP padding in the palm/web region. Its liquid-solid properties allow it to simultaneously absorb shock and isolate vibration even at high frequency ratios.

Ergotech products are made with visco-elastic polymer, polyurethane material that combines high-energy absorption with faultless memory. In many applications and laboratory tests VEP has achieved shock absorption levels of up to 94.7%. The liquid-solid properties of VEP allow to simultaneously absorb shock and isolate vibration even at high frequency ratios.

Proper size is important. To determine glove size, with fingers extended measure circumference of the hand across the knuckles at the base of your fingers (don’t include the thumb). When ordering it is best to order smaller than your normal glove size.
