Repetitive tasks such as keyboarding, machine operators, sewing, assembly and the like can cause repetitive strain injuries (RSIs). A repetitive strain injury (RSI) is an injury to part of the musculoskeletal or nervous system caused by repetitive use, vibrations, compression or long periods in a fixed position. Other common names include repetitive stress disorders, cumulative trauma disorders (CTDs), and overuse syndrome which can lead to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Tendonitis.

RSIs are an everyday concern in the workplace and can occur in many parts of the body including the wrist, elbow, back, neck, hip, knees and ankles. Prevention is critical to long term hand health and productivity as persistence can cause permanent changes that are increasingly painful and irreversible over time.

This Impacto® Fingerless Glove Liner Wrist Restrainer is made of 4-way stretch breathable polycotton fabric. Viscolas padding in the palm and thumb web area. Detachable grain leather wrist support.

Proper size is important. To determine glove size, with fingers extended measure circumference of the hand across the knuckles at the base of your fingers (don’t include the thumb). When ordering it is best to order smaller than your normal glove size.
