AlphaTec® Reusable Chemical Protective Hoods are designed for industrial applications that include hazardous chemical handling. Constructed with red polyester, AlphaTec® apparel incorporates a breathable membrane which contributes to less heat stress and all day comfort.  It also provides chemical splash protection against 70 different chemicals and can be washed and re-used over and over again. AlphaTec® chemical-splash-resistant PPE apparel is independently tested and certified according to NFPA 1992 (Liquid splash-protective clothing for hazardous materials emergencies), and for added splash protection, the seams are stitched and heat-sealed with thermally stable and chemically inert sewing thread. White polyester inner with breathable membrane and red polyester outer. This durable laminated fabric system is machine washable, ensuring longer use and cost-effectiveness.

Applications include: chemical processing and handling, tank cleaning, dust exposures, food processing, hazmat work, metal plating, mining, petrochemicals and refining, power plants, pulp and paper production. Color red. Made in USA.
