The PIP® Traverse™ FB Industrial Climbing Helmet with Mips® Brain Protection System is engineered for workers who need advanced head protection while working at heights and in demanding industrial environments. Combining a lightweight, durable shell with impact-management technology and an adjustable suspension system, this helmet supports worker safety, comfort, and secure fit.

Advanced Impact Protection with Mips®

The helmet incorporates the Mips® Brain Protection System, a low-friction layer designed to allow relative movement between the helmet and the wearer's head during certain angled impacts. This technology is intended to help reduce rotational motion transferred to the head.

An integrated EPS foam impact liner helps absorb impact forces from the front, sides, and rear of the helmet. The combination of the shell, impact liner, and suspension system provides protection designed for industrial applications requiring Type II head protection.

Lightweight Full-Brim ABS Shell

The rugged ABS shell features a full-brim design and a non-vented construction. This design provides durable head protection while offering additional brim coverage around the helmet. The non-vented configuration is suitable for applications where a vented helmet is not desired.

Adjustable Suspension for a Secure Fit

The helmet features a four-point HDPE suspension system with a SURE-LOCK® wheel ratchet adjustment mechanism. The adjustable design helps users achieve a secure fit, while the crossover 4-point chin strap with quick-release buckle helps keep the helmet in place during work activities.

Comfortable padding above the brow line adds support for extended wear.

Quin® Tag for Emergency Identification

A pre-installed Quin® Tag allows critical medical identification and other essential information to be stored digitally and accessed by first responders using a compatible phone. This feature can support emergency response when worker identification or medical information is needed.

The helmet is available in multiple colors, including black, gray, white, navy, red, orange, yellow, dark green, and carbon-finish options.
